The Defence Housing Authority (DHA LHR) (ڈیفنس ہاؤسنگ اتھارٹی) is a government-owned real estate development company that manages housing and community services in defense districts across Pakistan. It is the first and largest residential area in Pakistan. It was chaired by the Minister of Defense (Pakistan) and was composed by Parliamentary Act in 2013 while being controlled by the Pakistani Army.
DHA LHR focused primarily on the development of housing for active and retired military personnel in the 1970s, and currently sells most of the plots of new projects to civilians. The service is given a 10 to 20 year plan.
